Torus Station - Procedural Utopia
SCRIPTED SPACE STATION | 3rd Semester Graduate Visual Communications
Project Partner: Billy KC Lee | Critic: Benjamin Dillenburger
The premise of this project was to create a fictional utopia using procedural design and coding. Python coding was used within in concert with Rhinoceros to generate the built form of a hypothetical space habitat orbiting earth. From 2 given curves, the code generate random built forms inspired by Chernikov and other sci-fi sources. The project was further brought into Unity software, where a fly-through of the space station was experienced in Virtual Reality.
